Home 5 Ukraine 5 Ukraine Update: March 2024

It’s been an exciting week for our team in Ukraine – our second dental clinic opened this last week in a very troubled region in the far east. The undisclosed city we’re now operating in is near a Russian frontline that is slowly advancing, and residents are facing a very uncertain year ahead. The clinic provides the first free dental service for the city and surrounding villages nearer the frontline that face constant bombardment from Russian air strikes. Many of the residents have had virtually no access to healthcare since the war began.

We are happy to be operating in collaboration with the local office of ADRA Ukraine to ensure that residents access the health services they need. We hope to add a primary medical and mental health service soon.

At this stage we have not opened our international volunteer program due to the security challenges that come with operating in this location, but hope to commence this as our mobile service develops over the next few months.
