The story of a camp that began to breathe again is one of consistent presence and human resilience. At the edge of Mosul, a profound change has taken place. Healing in this context extends beyond medical intervention, and is found in the restoration of dignity and a renewed sense of belonging. Throughout 2025, our work has moved from immediate relief toward a sustainable model of resilience.
Impact at a Glance
- 5,500+ individuals supported across three camps, alongside 14,000 residents in surrounding villages.
- 8,500+ medical consultations delivered as the sole healthcare provider for the region.
- 700+ kg of fresh vegetables distributed to over 100 families monthly.

Core Pillars of Progress
Physical Health and Stability
Our primary healthcare unit operates seven days a week. It serves as the only medical resource for three displacement camps and ensures that untreated illnesses are reduced, while community stability is strengthened. Families no longer face the choice between suffering and waiting.
Youth Development and Future Skills
Education has shifted from passive aid to active responsibility. Fifty youth in the Pathfinders programme now lead community initiatives, such as organising school supply distributions. In our classrooms, children are building robots and learning English. They are reclaiming their imaginations and preparing for a future beyond the camp.
Dignity and Women’s Empowerment
Through the R.I.S.E. UP programme, women and widows have completed a rigorous six-month training course. They have moved from learning craft techniques to generating independent income. This programme provides a safe space for emotional healing and helps participants restore their sense of self-worth.
Sustainable Agriculture
The agriculture programme expanded its land tenfold in the final quarter of 2025. What began as immediate provision has evolved into a foundation for food security. Improved nutrition and reduced dependency on aid are the hallmarks of this initiative.

2026 Vision
The coming year will focus on deepening this impact. Key priorities include transitioning agriculture to market-based production and launching a camp-based product business for women. Most significantly, we will implement a mobile clinic network to reach underserved rural communities on the city’s outskirts.
