Mobile Clinics
in Lesvos & Oinofyta
Home 5 Our Work 5 Greece

Our first operation was an emergency bus clinic on the north coast of the island of Lesvos, Greece – the main arrival point for boats carrying asylum seekers escaping from conflict zones in the Middle East. Established medical NGOs were struggling to deal with the massive influx of people arriving in small boats on the shores of the island. The clinic bus became the go-to point for medical care on the island and treated thousands of patients. Thanks to the support of numerous partner organizations, we were able to expand our clinics to be able to provide more comprehensive medical care.

Thereafter we partnered with the Greek military. Air Force Col. Kyriakos – invited us to operate a primary health care clinic for Afghan refugees in the Oinofyta refugee settlement on mainland Greece.
