This week, our dental clinic in Ukraine has been bustling with activity. Our dedicated team has already attended to several hundred patients, offering vital dental care to those who might otherwise go without. Among our patients are many elderly individuals, who, due to various circumstances, lack access to healthcare services.
Operating within a care facility designed for vulnerable mothers and children adds another layer of significance to our work. We’ve encountered numerous young women residents who have suffered appalling abuse during the period of Russian occupation. Serving this resilient group is not just a duty but a privilege, as we strive to alleviate their pain and improve their quality of life.
