AdventRelief team members recently visited the ADRA Clinic in Kyaka 2 Refugee Settlement, located in Western Uganda. In partnership with ADRA Uganda, AdventRelief established the clinic during 2018 and 2019. The clinic provides critical outpatient services to a population of over 120,000 Congolese refugees and the host community.

The clinic is currently operating smoothly, partnering with Ishaka Adventist Hospital to deliver services. It receives an average of 150 to 200 patients a day, treating over 22,000 patients since its opening last year. The clinic is an essential facility for the refugees and the host community in Western Uganda.
In recent months, the clinic has been at the forefront of the dangerous Sudanese Ebola outbreak in the region, which has fortunately subsided. We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to the clinic’s success, and the lives it has impacted.
The success of the ADRA Clinic highlights the importance of partnerships and collaborations in addressing complex challenges. We are proud of its partnership with ADRA Uganda and Ishaka Adventist Hospital, which has facilitated the successful establishment and operation of the clinic.
